Three Coins In A Fuchsbau. It finally happened. A creepy artefact that affects people’s behaviour. Also – Hitler was a Wesen. The artefacts in question are coins from ancientGreece. They show up at a crime scene and immediately Hank’s brain starts getting messed up. Nick is unaffected but we can’t say the same for Captain Renard, who holds a press conference in full dress blues and sounds like someone from a comic book. Elsewhere a Wesen reveals he was in a relationship with Nick’s Aunt many years ago and that she left him to raise Nick when his parents died. I’ll be honest: I can’t remember much else that happened in this episode. It wasn’t one of the strongest in the series but Renard’s scenes were powerful and creepy. Nick’s personal like is getting even more complicated. It’s a wonder he can focus on his job – either of them. Rating: 2.5/5 Raging Nerds Plumed Serpent. Dragons! One who doesn’t particularly like people and one who likes Nick just a bit too much. Nick and Juliette’s relationship is put to the test and it seems they might not make it.Monroefinally meets Nick’s girlfriend but he also brings news of a Grimm being killed by Reapers. The whole world has it in for poor Nick. The case stars with two burglars who are out stealing copper when they come across our dragon, or Damonfeuer and are promptly fried. Nick and Hank’s investigation leads them to Fred Eberhart, the dragon’s, daughter Ariel who is a fire dancer in what looks like a Wesen club. Nick runs across Monroe there, who informs him about the dead Grimm. Nick follows Ariel home and she attacks him… with kisses. Juliette picks just the wrong time to call and Nick has a lot of explaining to do. She believes him about the crazy chick and arranges a romantic evening, but dragon lady ruins it by kidnapping her and standing in for her in bed. Very stalkerish. Nick doesn’t react well. Ariel takes Juliette to her father’s lair – an abandoned mineshaft and lures Nick there.Monroe’s passive aggressive protest about never having met Juliette as well as his train nerdism are adorable. It transpires that Ariel lured Nick to fight her father so he could die with honour.Monroegets to meet Juliette – I see them getting along great when Nick finally tells her the truth. That’s assuming they don’t break up over the next Wesen that tries to hurt one or both of them. It may even be Ariel because as the final shot shows, she’s not dead. I’m awarding myself 10 points for going this whole review without making a Targeryen/Dragon joke. Rating: 3.5/5 Raging Nerds
