Can Timesplitters Make A Comeback?

Timesplitters has the chance to make comeback. The excellent first person shooter filled memorable stages and even more memorable characters is now in the under the control of Crytex.

After hearing fans demand a fourth installment, president Cevat Yerli said there wasn’t enough demand to justify the business decision.

President Yerli said, “For me, I would to see the game out there, as a newborn HD collection or whatnot.”
He then added, ” I definitely would love to see it. But the case of turning this into a business decision is still difficult, despite the fact that there was a Twitter request feed to test the waters.”

In October, a petition was started to make it happen. However, the limited response seemed to prove Crytex’s suspicions. But Crytex’s agreed to move forward with the project if the petition gathers 300,000 signature.

Personally, I’d prefer new HD collection updated with online multiplayer rather than a sequel. But either option seems possible if the magic number if 300,000 is reached.

Sign the petition and let your voice be heard.
