The Force Is Strong With These ‘Star Wars’ Inspired Hamburgers

French Burger Chain ‘Quick’ is adding some new burgers to their menu that will have people choosing between the dark and light side of the force.

The European fast-food chain will be rolling out their new Star Wars promotion from Jan 31st to March 5th, tying directly with the Feb 8th release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3-D

From what I’ve seen of the menu there’s three types of burgers. The Darth-Maul inspired Dark Burger, made with a pepper-sprinkle bun, pepper sauce and pepper cheese. The Yoda burger, called Jedi Burger, made with mozzarella and spicy mustard. And finally the Darth Vader inspired burger called the Dark Vador Burger (Vador? Really?), topped with red pepper slices and cheese and a very cool black bun that was dyed black.

Apparently the process to dye the Dark Vador Burger black was by using a vegetable coloring agent. Quick is calling the burger the “first black coloured burger ever created’”.

It’s too bad we won’t be seeing these burgers in North America, but really, they just look like a glorified Big Mac. I wonder if they come with any kind of toy? If you really want one, book a ticket to France before March 5th and bring me back one please!
