Whatever happened to bottles with notes washing up on beaches…never have I heard of a giant Lego man!

On Tuesday, beach goers  in Siesta Key Florida discovered an 8ft tall Legoman washed up on the beach. The giant legoman has the phrase “no real than you are” emblazoned on it’s chest and the name “Ego Leonard” on its back. If you Google search the phrase you’ll find this website.

The Lego man page has the following s written:

I would like to introduce myself:

My name is Ego Leonardand according to you I come from the virtual world. A world that for me represents happiness, solidarity, all green and blossoming, with no rules or limitations.

Lately however, my world has been flooded with fortune-hunters and people drunk with power. And many new encounters in the virtual world have triggered my curiosity about your way of life.

I am here to discover and learn about your world and thoughts.

Show me all the beautiful things that are there to admire and experience in your world. Let’s become friends, share your story with me, take me with you on a journey through beautiful meadows, words, sounds and gestures.

Apperently this has happened before. In 2007, an almost-identical legoman was discvoered in the Netherlands, followed by another a year later in England. The police were called to the scene after the discovery, and confiscated the figure. If the owner of the Legoman doesn’t step forward within 30 days, it will be given to the person who made the initial discovery.

Weird stuff, makes you think what sick person is tossing 8ft tall Legoman into the ocean…creepy.
